Manawatū is set to host a double-header to launch the start of the newly named Bunnings NPC for 2021.

The Manawatū Turbos and Manawatū Cyclones will host Counties Manukau and Hawke’s Bay respectively on Friday August 6 to usher in the start of the NPC season.

For the Cyclones, it will be their second home game of the season, kicking off their Farah Palmer Cup campaign on July 24.

They then travel to Northland on July 31 before the Hawke’s Bay clash.

The Cyclones also host North Harbour at home on August 14, and close out their regular season with an away match to Tasman on August 22.

For the Turbos, they follow the season opener with a trip to Canterbury before returning to Central Energy Trust Arena on August 22 to face Wellington.

On August 29, they will travel to Inglewood to play Taranaki and finish their streak of matches against their three closest neighbours with a home match against Hawke’s Bay on September 5.

Back-to-back trips north will see the side face Auckland and North Harbour away on consecutive weekends before home matches against Northland on September 25 and Otago on October 2.

The Turbos’ regular season wraps up on October 10 against Southland.

Season tickets for Manawatū’s 2021 campaign go on sale on June 1.
